These are amazing. I had them at a little asian fusion place and was gobbling them up like they were chips. They’re slightly sweet with a salty umami flavor, and a kick of spice from the garlic siracha used, and the best part is that you can eat as many as you like and they’re actually healthy!

Ingredients:

  • 1lb bag of brussel sprouts

  • 2 heaping tbs of garlic siracha (in the jar as pictured)

  • juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 15 shakes of asian fish sauce

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 2 tbs flavorless oil such as avocado or canola

Step 1: Mix all ingredients in large bowl except for the brussel sprouts to form a sauce. Taste and adjust for seasoning. Add more fish sauce if it needs more salt, honey for sweetness, siracha for heat, or oil to tone it all down a bit.

Step 2: Rinse off the brussel sprouts, cut off the stem end, and halve or quarter them depending on how big they are. I like to cut them on the smaller side so they get nice and crispy.

Step 3: Add brussel sprouts to bowl with the sauce and mix thoroughly until they are all well coated. Empty onto foil lined baking sheet and spread out to an even layer. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden and crispy then enjoy! I like these in chicken terryaki bowls, as a super flavorful side dish, or easy snack.

NOTE: You can always pre make these and keep them on hand for a few days when youre craving a salty crunch. Just reheat in an 425 degree oven for 5-10 minutes.
