I love the rain, but to clarify, I love being covered and dry either under an outdoor patio or inside while it rains around me. It’s always hard to look polished and put together when you’re trying to stay dry, so I’m sharing my favorite raingear essentials you can wear to work!
Blondo boots

Trench Coat
A great trench coat will get you far in life. It’s worth investing in so that you can keep your coat for a long time and get ample use out of it. Always look for one with a hood, and check to see if it’s water resistant. I don’t like waterproof trench coats because they tend to look plastic-y, however water resistant coats often don’t have that look, so you can wear them in the cool months rain or shine.

Hat
I’m all about hats, especially during rainy weather. They keep your hair dry and if you go with a brimmed hat, you can probably wear it to work in a business casual environment. Truthfully, I keep an umbrella in my car at all times just in case, and additionally, I have one in the hall closet right by the door so I can grab it and go. A good umbrella is key to staying dry, and part of that is having an umbrella with an easy handle to hold onto! It sounds silly, but a good handle that you can grip while holding your other things makes a big difference.
