As an avid coffee drinker, I savor my morning cup of joe; a double shot of espresso with steamed milk and just a bit of sugar. And when I think about how much I would be spending on it if I hadn’t made it at home, it tastes that much better.
Paying an average of $3 per drink, (and often more) people who buy their daily coffee spend about $800 a year on it! You heard me right, $800 a year; and that’s on the low side! Most people claim that they don’t have time to make it at home or it’s just easier to grab one on the go, but that is totally not the case. Spending 10-15 minutes getting coffee from your local shop is way longer than making it yourself. I spend about 5 minutes total making coffee, and enjoy those extra 10 minutes in the morning to myself. Who could argue with that?
It sounds like a lot for coffee, but spending $200-250 on a good espresso machine can save you AT LEAST $500 a year, and if you drink more than one cup a day, it’ll save way beyond that. Coffee is a worldwide delicacy, so indulge, enjoy it, and invest in a good quality espresso machine. You won’t regret it, I promise.
