It may be a little chilly (for Southern California) but I’m over here gearing up for nice weather with a little lace for spring and a pop of green. Funny enough, I got this necklace (link here) to wear at Christmas, but forgot to pack it in my suitcase, so it’s finally making its appearance now. It’s a great statement piece, and for the price (only $14!!!) you can’t beat it.
This dress is also an oldie but goodie, however I found similar styles here, here, and here that you can easily buy right now! I love how the neutral grey can be dressed up or down, and easily works under a wide range of blazers and jackets at the office. This happens to be my springtime look, but I’ve also thrown this on with a scarf, fitted jacket, boots, and tights for a fall look. The best part about lace is how versatile it can be. All you need to do is add the right accessories, and this one dress can take you almost anywhere you need to go!
Because I went bold with my necklace, I chose to go neutral on the shoes. Probably one of the best investments I ever made was these neutral pumps. I’m a believer that pumps look great with almost any outfit, but the neutral color of these make your legs appear longer, which is always great! Try going for a shoe that works with your skin tone to get this lengthening effect.
Well there you have it, my look featuring a little lace for spring paired with a statement necklace and neutral accessories.
