Fall is around the corner, yet while I anxiously await the cool breeze and crisp fall air, it’s still blazing hot out. Still sticky with the summer heat, it seems as if all the fall clothing stocked stores is simply taunting us, so I wanted to find a way to beat the summer heat with the colors of fall.
While browsing for simple dresses online, I found this adorable option that is a good length, light weight, has some fun detail to it, and comes in wonderful fall colors. Best of all? It comes in 10 colors AND is under $40! Can’t get much better than that!
If you’ve read my articles before, you know I love a bang for my buck, so this dress is perfect. While I can throw it now as an easy outfit to help stay cool, this dress works equally well going into fall and winter. It would be great under a leather jacket, or worn over a long sleeve shirt or sweater to give it a more layered and cozy look. Similarly, it works equally well with strappy sandals or cozy boots.
While I’m wearing it now as an opportunity to wear as few layers as possible, I can’t wait to explore the different ways to style this dress throughout the year. A flowy dress in a warm burnt orange seems like the perfect thanksgiving outfit, don’t you think?
